Photo exhibition in the yard of International Criminal Court in The Hague
The Yemeni Center for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Violations and Torture (will & hope) organized a photo exhibition in the yard of International Criminal Court in The Hague illustrating the victims of torture, forced disappearance and arbitrary detention in Houthis militia’s jails, in addition to the victims of landmines In his speech delivered on this occasion, the dean of Yemeni abductees and prisoners, the Yemeni Center Chief Sheikh Jamal Al-Mamari vowed to pursue Houthis’ criminals who committed serious crimes against human rights in Yemen. He assured the relatives of the victims that Houthis’ offenders won’t go unpunished, noting that he has been seeking to internationalize the issues of violations committed by Houthis in order to obtain the legally guaranteed rights under local and international laws and UN’s charters. Besides organizing the exhibition, Yemeni Center Chief participated in a protest demanding to lift the blockade imposing on Taiz by Houthis. At the same time, Tamkeen and Myon Foundations displayed photos illustrating the recruitment of Yemeni children and the suffering of civilians resulting from the siege of Taiz. The photo exhibition was organized in coordination with Human Rights Association.
